Emotions in the moonlight... - Emozioni al chiaro di luna...

granulated watercolor, white gouache, golden iridescences and even a little bit of play with the rubber stamps: these are the ingredients of my new painting...
acquerello sgranato, tempera bianca, iridescenze dorate e anche un po' di gioco con i timbri: ecco gli ingredienti del mio nuovo dipinto...

In addition to printing on acrylic inks, in this period I'm experimenting with new watercolor tecniques.
In the Moonlight series, of which I show you here the first painting, I felt the need to enhance the texture of the subjects through the granulation of color and the use of white gouache.

Oltre alla stampa su inchiostro acrilico, in questo periodo sto sperimentando anche nuove tecniche con l'acquerello.
Nella serie Moonlight, di cui vi mostro qui il primo dipinto, ho sentito il bisogno di esaltare la matericità dei soggetti attraverso la granulazione del colore e l'uso della tempera bianca.

This palette of colors - ultramarine blue, burgundy, yellow indian, sepia -, so full of contrasts and light, fascinated me immediately...

adding golden and iridescent details helped me create even more the magical effect of a dreamy moonlight...

and as a final touch, the title of the painting printed with rubber stamps, that seems to be sung straight from the ground!

Questa palette di colori - blu oltremare, vinaccia, giallo indiano, seppia - , così piena di contrasti e di luce, mi ha affascinato fin dall'inizio...
l'aggiunta di dettagli dorati e iridescenti mi ha aiutato a creare ancora più l'effetto magico di un chiaro di luna sognante...
e come tocco finale, il titolo del dipinto stampato con i timbri, che sembra quasi essere cantato direttamente dalla terra!
