Per andare a fare il bagno seguivamo una passerella di legno posata sulla spiaggia, per riparare i piedi dalla sabbia bollente.
Era una passerella lunghissima, tutta blu.
Quale colore migliore per un cammino che porta al mare?

To go for a swim we followed a wooden walkway laid on the beach, to repair the feet from the hot sand.
It was a very long walkway, all blue.
What better color for a path that leads to the sea?

Il cammino blu è un dipinto molto grande, a tutto foglio (vedi il work in progress di qualche giorno fa...).

The Blue Path is a very large painting, it occupies a whole sheet (see the work in progress of some days ago...).
I leave you below some details to be enjoyed:

Ho creato le textures
- con il gesso modellato sulla carta prima di stendere il colore,
- con il pastello ad olio bianco passato sull'inchiostro acrilico asciutto per evidenziare i corrugamenti del gesso,
- con il pennino e l'inchiostro acrilico bianco, seppia e verde per creare dei segni grafici che simbolizzano gli elementi naturali della spiaggia.

I created the textures
- with the gesso modelled on the paper before applying the color,
- with the white oil pastel spread on the dry acrylic ink to highlight the folds of the gesso,
- with the nib pen and white, sepia and green ink acrylic to create graphic signs that symbolize the natural elements of the beach.
