Anche se non sembra, in Rainbow Forest la gamma dei colori è la stessa del dipinto precedente: i viola e i rosa, i gialli e gli arancioni, e i verdi chiari e scuri, quasi grigi... ma ho voluto applicarli però con una stesura disordinata, più scabra, che rendesse l'idea di una foresta folta e aspra, piena di presenze: tronchi, muschi, arbusti, ciuffi d'erbe e rovi... il tutto punteggiato delle ombre e delle luci che ci colpiscono gli occhi e quasi ci accecano, quando passiamo dal buio del sottobosco al chiarore abbagliante di una radura aperta al cielo...

Even though it doesn't seem, Rainbow Forest has the same the range of colors as the previous painting: purple and pink, yellow and orange, and dark and light greens... but I applied them with more messy and rough strokes, to give the idea of ​​a thick and harsh forest, full of presences: trunks, mosses, shrubs, tufts of grass and brambles... all these speckled with the shadows and lights that affect our eyes and almost blind us, when we pass from the darkness of the underwood to the dazzling light of a clearing open to the sky...
