The sea often sneaks in my dreams and in my paintings lately (see Submerged Forest and Sedimentations), even when I'm painting a forest like this... do you think that the foreground is an underwood of colorful shrubs that stretch out to the sunrise, or a sea floor populated by graceful algae that dance with the waves?
Il mare si intrufola spesso nei miei sogni e nei miei dipinti ultimamente (vedi Foresta sommersa e Sedimentazioni), anche quando sto dipingendo un bosco come questo... secondo voi, quello in primo piano è un sottobosco di arbusti colorati che si protendono verso il sole che sta spuntando, oppure un fondo marino popolato da alghe aggraziate che danzano con le onde?
